Yo yo so I guess its a good week for remixes. My homie RP just sent me over this link that I figured you may all enjoy. Ludachirst (amazing name) is a DJ duo who are making some news in remixing scene and cause a few weeks ago they put out this new EP called The Legend of Curtis EP. Also here are some left over tracks that came out today. The T.I. track is a left over and got put on a mixtape thats coming out this week. The Q-Tip track features 90s r&b sensation D’Angelo – off Tip’s new album The Renaissance (check the awesome album art above.) The David Banner track seems to be just a new song – probably cause his album was terrible. This song is better than anything on that album. The Banner I like to see.

Swagger Like Us Pt. 2 Confirmed + New Game Track
So its been confirmed by LowKey that indeed Swagger Like Us Pt. 2 will be on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3, which will be released on December 2nd. Confirmed on the track will Young Jeezy, Andree 3000 and Nas (who all apparently have recorded their verses.) Early rumours of 50 Cent being on the track seems to false. Good, cause 50 sucks.
I wonder who is gonna shine on this track….I got my money on the Snowman.

Apparently this was supposed to be on L.A.X. and now just got released by the studio. A real dope track from The Game over a piano laced ballad. The Game at his finest. Definitley worth a check.

FREE ALBUM: E-603 – Something For Everyone
I always wondered if there would be another Girl Talk and if there was, how they would do it. Sure there are lots of mash up artists but not the same exact style as Girl Talk. Well someone finally did it and did it f-in well. E-603 seems to be another nerdy white boy who loves music. E-603 shows lots of similarties to Girl Talk (plus some very familiar samples used by both artists) but E-603 is different just enough with a bit more of an edgy-hard sound more a long the lines of Girl Talk’s album Night Ripper. The songs are a bit shorter and the album flows like one giant mix. A bonus beeing some much newer samples have been used. Definitley worth a check – this is a nice break from Feed The Animals and it makes me want more from E. Looks like E-603 has another album slated for this summer.

A neal nice set glimpse into a set from DJ Scratch & Evil Dee. I saw DJ Scratch (dude rockin the Superman tee) spin for Common a year ago in Milwaukee. Dude is pretty good with those tables – lots of technical work and brilliant timing. Good Stuff. wik wik wak.

I’m not a huge 2 Pistols fan other than “She Got It” – that was a bangin track. Purely posted for my boy Swizz – one of the more interesting beats I’ve heard from him in awhile. Good party track. Hook is nice from 2 Pistols and BMU .
New Video: Doomtree – Gameover
Hell yeah the home town boys and girl have put out a new video for their song “Gameover” off the August released self titled album Doomtree. This probably is my favorite song on the album and this video is real nice. Mike is my favorite member (besides Dessa) and he rips it on this track. Nice tour of Minneapolis and it looks like that might be the album release party I was at as the performance at the end of the video. Anyway enough talk – watch that video.

Rumors, nah, I don’t do those, but when this rumor slid across my desk, I just had to pump some more oxygen into it. And the only reason WHY I’m applying pressure to this particular anecdote is because on the original version, T.I. mentions Jeezy during his verse, so there actually might be some truth to this. Regardless if this rumor is true or false….wait, before I continue on, let me first address the issue at hand.
According to a little birdie, President Carter is looking to recruit some new soldiers for a “Swagger Like Us” sequel. Participants include; 50 Cent, Nas, Andre 3000, and of course, Young Jeezy. What to make of this new revelation, I have no idea. BUT, if this were to become a reality………GOOOD LORD! It’s bad enough the original was like, one of the BEST tracks in the last 5 years, but to make a sequel that just might surpass the original…..ahhhhhhhhhhhh sh*t!
All I know is, Jeezy better be on this. If its even true – the writer is right. Swagger Like Us is histrocial enough with such big names on board, but a second version? Damn. Hopefully all this is true. The only reason I’m posting a rumor – is lots of credible sources are reporting this. So don’t expect this to turn into a gossip column.

Busta Rhymes – Arab Money f. Ron Browz
Busta Rhymes drops the first single of his upcoming album B.O.M.B. (Back On My Bullshit.) Boy does this sound good – a real nice beat and Busta does his thing for the second time today. Also there seems to be a little Middle Eastern T-Pain effect from Ron Browz (no clue who he is) as the hook. Don’t pass this up. Busta still got it after all these years.
