Street Sweeper is Tom Morello & Boots Riley
Street Sweeper is a new super duo consisting of legendary Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and MC Boots Riley of Oakland hip hop band The Coup. Yeah, I know it sounds amazing already. Perfect combo as they both have a history of music that is politically motivated. Check out The Coup if you haven’t already.
To be honest I’m mind boggled how this project hasn’t recieved a ton of attention – perhaps because no official single has been released other than the track that seems to be streaming over at the groups new website, which I believe is called “Fight! Smash! Win!.” Details seem to be limited but this is a project to definitely keep an eye on.

Hopefully this doesn’t flop like Zach De La Rocha’s latest project.
