Wow, do I absoutley love this track right here. This is seriously a west boast BANGER. I especially love it because I honestly have played the sample to this track on my radio show a dozen times this year already. The sample is the lovely voice of Marlena Shaw and the song is fittingly called California Soul. Check it on YouTube. I alway figured it would be a matter of time until someone would use this track. Jay Rock and The Game, obviously both representing Cali go hard on this track both spitting about the good life on the west coast.

Another must have this week. This is the first single of Jay Rock’s debut album Follow Me Home. Definitely one of the sleeper albums of the year – Jay Rock is killing it right now. New west coast movement is lookin real good right now.
