Last week i told my facebook friends/fans i would liberate a song if Ghana beat Brazil to win the under 20 soccer world cup last Friday. Well they did. so as advertised i’m liberating this song, “Ghana, 52” i did with producer Budo. So 2/3 of A.R.M. is featured on this song(download link is below). This cut will be featured on “the birds & the beats” mixtape i’ll be putting out for free 99 on my birthday November 20. Wrote this song on March 5th, the eve of Ghana’s 52 indenpendence anniversary.its a reflective one, and i sought a more organic feel to the music to match the feel. Budo killed it with the instruments. Enjoy.

Mike Posner “One Foot Out The Door” Episode 2: Wale, Benny Blanco and Virginia Tech
In the second episode of Mike Posner’s web series “One Foot Out The Door”, Mike heads back to his second week at Duke University just in time to share the stage with Wale and his band after rocking a party at Emory the day before. Before he can even unpack, Mike hits the road with 10 of his closest friends from Duke and heads to a massive outdoor party at Virginia Tech, joined by his partner-in-crime, superproducer Benny Blanco. Watch as Mike and Benny rock for hundreds of VTech students before the police shut the party down, and then make a speedy escape that includes an impromptu game of trashketball.
Tune in every two weeks as Mike deals with the pressures of finishing college about going back to college with a record deal, what his life will be post-graduation and his upcoming packed itinerary. Tune in October 28th for Episode 3 which will correspond with the release of his second mixtape, “One Foot Out The Door” on October 29th, presented by Clinton Sparks, DJ Benzi and LRG.

Two of the Twin Cities fines are collaborating for a new album titled An Unwelcome Guest. Producer Big Cats! and emcee Guante come together to tell the the tale of a “hour-long zombie-superhero-love-story.” Sweet!
But we won’t get to hear the final project which features the likes of Big Quarters and members of No Bird Sing until this December. Until then – Minneapolis DJ Noam The Drummer has mixed together the album into 15 delicious minutes. Looking forward to hearing the whole project soon enough!

Funny story – I was over at Fifth Element this summer trying to buy the new Slaughterhouse album. Turns out they were out of copies -as I was in the store this rapper who goes by the name Kahlee was looking for the album as well. He was in town supporting Kottonmouth Kings and had no car – he needed a ride back to First Ave and a place to buy the CD. Being Minnesota nice – I gave him a ride and we went and picked the only two copies of Slaughterhouse they had at the downtown Target. Dope rapper and a real nice guy – so check it out his music – you won’t be disappointed.
