Constrobuz – Bleep Blorp Remixes

Producer Constrobuz loads up everyone from the dirty South and fires them into space with some incredible remixes. If you can’t handle the drawling lyrics of the south’s finest Constro also dropped an instrumental version of the remix project as well.
I’m telling you this guy is one of the most slept on underrated unfound producers in the game. This isn’t even his sample based stuff! Check out the rest of his products over at his MySpace.

DJ Earworm continues his annual series by dropping a mix of the top 25 tracks of 2009 according to Billboard Magazine. Pretty dope final product. Video is edited pretty well.
This year in the charts, so many of the pop songs this year seem to tell the same story: Yeah, we’ve been through a lot, but right now we’re gonna celebrate with music and dance, and it’s gonna be ok. With that spirit in mind, I invite you to…BLAME IT ON THE POP.
Another year, another year-end mashup, once again consisting of the top 25 most popular hit songs of 2009, according to Billboard Magazine.
The Cool Kids – illRoots Interview (Video) + The Cool Kids – Tires ft. Boldy James (Video)
I was able to attend the Cool Kids/Bun B/GLC show at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago on December 10th.
After the concert I chopped it up with Mikey and Chuck about working on Blakroc 2 in New York, the status of their album, the Tiger Woods scandal and more.Video by Mike Carson.
-Mike Waxx
The homie Mike Waxx and Mike Carson over at illRoots.com did a pretty good sit down interview with The Cool Kids a few weeks back. I had no idea they were involved in Blakroc 2 or that they were even making another one. Can’t wait to hear how that turns out. Good shit.

“In four short days, Don Cannon and The Cool Kids knocked out four classic tracks for the Merry Christmas FreEP. This track, Tires, features Boldy James and is produced by one half of The Cool Kids, Chuck Inglish.”
Not my favoirte track off the Merry Christmas EP that the gang dropped earlier this week but this is pretty dope to get some visuals. In fact I’m looking at this track a bit differently know that I’m seeing the recording process. Some nice footage.
I believe this was shot by Decatur Dan.

Brother Ali – Blizzard Rap ’09 + Franz Diego – Hammer Bros

Brother Ali – Blizzard Rap ‘09
A little gift from the Brother Ali. Story below. I guess we need some more blizzards to keep Ali cooped up more often. Here he goes in over Kanye’s “I’m So Appalled.”
Damn it snowed a lot here the last few days.
We had 15 inches of snow in Minnesota over the past few days. My holiday was over a month ago and I’ve been stuck in my house the last few days. To entertain myself, I chopped up a Kanye West song called “I’m So Appalled” and did a super rough homemade recording of some bars. This is what I do when I’m bored!

The homie Franz Diego is also in the spirit. Bringing Minneapolis and Chicago together by spitting some fresh rhymes over The Cool Kid’s “Hammer Bros.” Fire.
Franz uploaded the track to YouTube as well. Check it.
