Producer Constrobuz loads up everyone from the dirty South and fires them into space with some incredible remixes. If you can’t handle the drawling lyrics of the south’s finest Constro also dropped an instrumental version of the remix project as well.
I’m telling you this guy is one of the most slept on underrated unfound producers in the game. This isn’t even his sample based stuff! Check out the rest of his products over at his MySpace.
EDIT: I fixed the instrumentals link.

DJ Earworm continues his annual series by dropping a mix of the top 25 tracks of 2009 according to Billboard Magazine. Pretty dope final product. Video is edited pretty well.
This year in the charts, so many of the pop songs this year seem to tell the same story: Yeah, we’ve been through a lot, but right now we’re gonna celebrate with music and dance, and it’s gonna be ok. With that spirit in mind, I invite you to…BLAME IT ON THE POP.
Another year, another year-end mashup, once again consisting of the top 25 most popular hit songs of 2009, according to Billboard Magazine.
I was able to attend the Cool Kids/Bun B/GLC show at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago on December 10th.
After the concert I chopped it up with Mikey and Chuck about working on Blakroc 2 in New York, the status of their album, the Tiger Woods scandal and more.
Video by Mike Carson.
The homie Mike Waxx and Mike Carson over at illRoots.com did a pretty good sit down interview with The Cool Kids a few weeks back. I had no idea they were involved in Blakroc 2 or that they were even making another one. Can’t wait to hear how that turns out. Good shit.
“In four short days, Don Cannon and The Cool Kids knocked out four classic tracks for the Merry Christmas FreEP. This track, Tires, features Boldy James and is produced by one half of The Cool Kids, Chuck Inglish.”
Not my favoirte track off the Merry Christmas EP that the gang dropped earlier this week but this is pretty dope to get some visuals. In fact I’m looking at this track a bit differently know that I’m seeing the recording process. Some nice footage.
I believe this was shot by Decatur Dan.
Some new material from Toki Wright and Big Quarters. Production from Medium Zach – this is off Big Quarters most recent edition of BQ Direct.
I thought this was supposed to be a full album and that it was supposed to drop a week ago? Who knows with this guy. But I guess Charles Hamilton is back – still not sure if I am 100% on board.
Artwork by Revok1. All tracks produced by Charles Hamilton. Mixed by Woody.
Smoke DZA – Marley & Me [Remix] (Ft. Devin The Dude, Curren$y, Asher Roth & June Summers) + Esso – Hello (ft. Rhyaa)
You think these guys smoke?
The most recent single off Emilio Sparks upcoming project titled Kicks, Chicks, and Porno. This one features Harlem’s very own Esso. Look for the project to drop sometime next week.
I watched this interview a week or so and I didn’t even notice that Emilio Sparks was rockin’ Airtime. Since I posted the the Diggy mixtape back when it dropped check out this interview he did with Emilio Sparks. Emilio Sparks has interviewed hip-hop legends but also focuses on the many up and coming artists into today’s hip-hop scene.
Download Diggy’s mixtape here.
Pick up the hoodie above and much more over at: The Airtime Collection.
In the fifth episode of Mike Posner’s web series “One Foot Out The Door” brought to you by Puma, Mike returns home to Michigan for a 2 part episode, the first of which is a show at University of Michigan. He also catches up with his sister Emily and a few childhood friends. And in the middle of it all, he rocks a photoshoot with Detroit photographer Dante Marshall.
Tune into Episode 6 as Mike flies to East Lansing at 6AM for a show at rival Michigan State University the same weekend.
If you don’t download this then you don’t like hip-hop. Just look at this line-up. The guest features alone should have you sold. If you don’t know who Reflection Eternal is…do your fucking homework.
spotted at 2dopeBoyz.
Producer/rapper Black Milk is pretty sure his next album titled Album of The Year, well….will be album of the year. This is a damn good start. Production is straight wild.
The album should drop Sping 2010. This is the lead single.
Some real fresh visuals from the trio outta Columbus, Ohio. Fly.Union drops the official video for the Big Sean assisted joint “Poed Up” off the groups Value Pack Vol. 1 – which can be downloaded here.
Can’t get enough of this one.
“This video/film was shot @ the request of my believers, friends, allies & supporters! As an adolescent I looked up to Chicago’s own “Crucial Conflict!” They inspired me to embrace the land & showed me that you could get on without sacrificing your Chicagoism! I also loved the latest “Batman” flick so I gave my musical take on the movie & combined my favorite shots! It is my honor to bring you my latest video directed by GLC, taking you through these Gothem City streets in a visually compelling fashion! I give you “A Gangsters Nature”, featuring Cold Hard of Crucial Conflict, produced by K-Salaam & Beatnick! Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas & Happy Holidays from the GOOD folks @ www.GLCityMusic.com Church remains on the move! Love, Life & Loyalty Awaits You!

An incredible mix from the very talented DJ Benzi. Can’t wait to just kick back and jam through this whole thing. Hosted by Mike Posner. What’s dope is you can also download the tracks seperatley or as one giant mix.
Side note: Benzi also dropped a list of his his Top 29 Jams of 2009. He included all the download links as well. This dude is a machine! Check it all out over at his website.
Steam it below. Good thing it’s Saturday night.
A little gift from the Brother Ali. Story below. I guess we need some more blizzards to keep Ali cooped up more often. Here he goes in over Kanye’s “I’m So Appalled.”
Damn it snowed a lot here the last few days.
We had 15 inches of snow in Minnesota over the past few days. My holiday was over a month ago and I’ve been stuck in my house the last few days. To entertain myself, I chopped up a Kanye West song called “I’m So Appalled” and did a super rough homemade recording of some bars. This is what I do when I’m bored!
The homie Franz Diego is also in the spirit. Bringing Minneapolis and Chicago together by spitting some fresh rhymes over The Cool Kid’s “Hammer Bros.” Fire.
Franz uploaded the track to YouTube as well. Check it.
I’m a day late – but here is a little Christmas gift from The Cool Kids and Don Cannon.
spotted at Fake Shore Drive.
Check out the first official track titled “No Go Die!” off St. Paul’s very own Mike Swoop. You can check out all the action over at his Band Camp website which can be viewed above. Sounds dope! The rest of the album features Toki Wright and Big Quarters.

CuDi performs the highlight track off his album Man On The Moon.
About damn time P.O.S. headlines a tour. This guy is one of the greatest performers in hip-hop right now. Psyched to see Dessa out there too! Y’all know I’ll be at the Chicago stop. I think it’s safe to assume there will be a Minneapolis homecoming show as well.

The State Vs. Radric Davis in stores now. Radric loss.
Yet another Wale freestyle – this time goin over the infamous “Stronger” beat. I haven’t heard this track in a minute. This is old but still dope.
The final segment of DJ Semtex’s chat with the mighty Mos Def. Mos Def working with the Gorillaz for their new album? Crazy.
Olubowale drops some rhymes over Hov’s “Thank You.” Good verses.
Oh how I miss the classic Dipset sound. KILLA!
I got an hour or so until dinner – gonna go bump the Diplomat records and read the new Complex mag with Eminem on the cover.
