B.o.B – Fuck the Money ft. Asher Roth (prod. Kanye West)
This is a radio rip but it’s with out a doubt worth posting anyway. B.O.B. recruits Asher Roth to spit over this crazy Kanye West best. This is off B’s mixtape that drops Monday, Feb 1st. The mixtape is titled May 25th because that’s when his album drops.
Freeway & Jake One ft. Raekwon – One Thing

Nero – Far Away From Here

Nero – Far Away From Here (Produced by Woody)
I shouldn’t have to say anything. Just download it. Nero did his shit for The March of Time mixtape that John (Airtime Collection) and I dropped last fall. I can’t thank him enough.
We haven’t officially heard anything from the homie Nero since August. Well worth the wait. Let’s get far away from here.
Yep, ya dig.
Donnis – Gone Behind The Scenes (Video) + Consequence & Asher Roth – Childish Games Behind The Scenes (Video)
First off – if you don’t have this track in your library just do yourself a favor and download it now. This track has “Day N Nite” status…funny cause Fool’s Gold has picked both the first single for Kid CuDI and now Atlanta’s Donnis.
If you like that. Just download the full mixtape.
10.Deep x Donnis – Diary of An ATL Brave (Mixtape)
In early January, I visited the set for Donnis’ “Gone” video, directed by BBGun Films in Manhattan. The ATL Brave himself talked to me about the concept behind the visual, then A-Trak praised the record and explained the Fool’s Gold co-sign. Dan “Stadium Dan” Solomito closed it out by breaking down the importance of his client’s first video look. – Jayson Rodriguez

Three/21 recently shot with Cons to the Quence and Asher Roth in New York City for the track “Childish Games” on Cons’ upcoming mixtape “Movies On Demand”. This joint features some dope production by Mr. Attic and one of the best uses of a Biggie sample heard in a long time. Shout out to Statik Selektah for providing the cuts and be on the lookout for this vid next month. Band Camp Records is in the building!
Another track I have been enjoying gets the video treatment. Asher! Pick up the track below if you haven’t yet.

Mos Def – The Tournament [Unreleased]

Mos Def – The Tournament [Unreleased]
Apparently this one didn’t make the cut for The Ecstatic. As a Mos Def fanatic I find this to be a nice little gem. If this were the industry 10 years ago – a track like this never would of seen the light of day.
In other news the Mos Def & Doom show here in Chicago at the Congress Theater has been postponed until Feb. 13th. Press release below. Regardless it should be an insane show as it will contain the same exact original line-up.
Shouts to Andrew over at Fake Shore Drive.

RESCHEDULED for SATURDAY FEBRUARY 13th
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the DOOM featuring Mos Def show this Friday must be rescheduled for Saturday February 13th. ALL TICKETS FOR JANUARY 29TH ARE STILL GOOD FOR THE FEBRUARY 13TH SHOW, SO HANG ON TO THOSE TICKETS!

A-Trak – Loonies To Blow ft. Drake & Birdman

A-Trak – Loonies To Blow ft. Drake & Birdman
My favorite DJ just put his own spin on Drake & Birdman’s “Money To Blow” for his upcoming remix album Dirty South Dance Vol. 2. If you were around me in the summer of 2007 all you heard was the original Dirty South Dance. It is incredible I’m telling you. I still play it.
For those who aren’t familiar with A-Trak he has quite the resume as founder of Fool’s Gold record label, Kanye’s touring DJ and his brother is 1/2 of Chromeo.
Fool’s Gold put on Kid CuDi’s first single “Day N Nite.”

Big Sean lets loose some info about his upcoming mixtape Finally Famous Vol 3 and talks about how Kanye influenced how he creates his music.
Big Sean talks dropping his new album which was just finished and will feature Pharrell and Kanye. Big Sean is good but I think this album needs to be pretty good to seal the deal for him. I’m all for Big Sean.
Kid CuDi – cudderisback (Video)
During a stop in Boston for his latest tour run Kid Cudi and the crew put together a little documentary. Directed by Jason Goldwatch/DECON, the video goes to the tune of Cudi’s latest song “cudderisback”. It’s pure jokes so enjoy and laugh a bit. – DatNewCudi
If you haven’t heard the tune – it features CuDi quickly dropping some bars over the exceptional sample of Vampire Weekend’s “Ottoman.” Catchy as shit. I love how CuDi drops little projects like this. Catch the track below.

Pharrell – Key Note Speaker at Midem (Video)
Pharrell recently spoke as the key note speaker at Midem – a music conference in France. I watched through this 40 minute interview over the weekend and it was worth every minute. Pharrell says some truly insightful stuff about our world today in relation to the music business, technology and much more. Definitely worth the watch if have the time. I simply felt inspired after watching it.
White Noise – Spoiler Alert! (Mashup Mixtape)

White Noise – Spoiler Alert! (Mashup Mixtape)
A new mash up mixtape from mash up artist White Noise! I would include myself on the list of people that are pretty hesitant when it comes to posting up new mash up artists. So many people have done it now that it takes something special to stand out from the rest. I don’t think anyone splices together mash ups that sound as good as Girl Talk but I have stumped upon a few others that are definitely worth your time. Most notably I’d mention Super Mash Bros. Anyway – this one is a bit different and features quite a few songs that dominated radio play this fall and into the winter mixed with classics of all genres. I find these mash up albums to be a good thing to have when you show up a social event and there is no music playing.
Screw it – enough of me babbling. Just check it out.
