Hopefully this is a sign we will see his album sometime soon.
The Roots – Dear God 2.0

I’m always for some new material from The Roots. This track is a nice way to start off the day. The drums on this are incredible.

The Roots – How I Got Over You (Tracklist + Album Art)

The Roots just dropped a preliminary track list for their 9th studio album and it sure looks appetizing. The more Blu verses the better in my opinion. Four or five interludes are also expected to be added to the album but who really cares about interludes?
Look for the album to drop June 22nd via Def Jam.

Donnis – Yup (Prod. Needlz)

There are so many rappers in the game right now that I sometimes find myself getting lost in the endless amount of material that drops each day. I must say that Donnis is an artist I find myself paying much more attention to than others. Although this particular track doesn’t strike me, Fashionably Late is one of my most antipated releases this year. Yup.
Fashionably Late drops June 22nd. Circle that date.
Wiz Khalifa – The Statement (Video)
Wiz drops some visuals for “The Statement” – one of the highlights on Kush & Orange Juice.

Good stuff from Peter Parker and crew as always. A track from Travie’s new album also dropped yesterday. This one is pretty damn poppy. Where the rap at?

AZ – Feel My Pain

I was telling my dude Phil I don’t know that much about AZ other than his work with The Firm. Looks like I have some hip-hop homework to do. This one is some serious heat.

Chiddy Bang – Pass Out (Video) + Freestyle Session (Video)
There must be something in the water that these two kids are drinking. They are killing it. I’m really excited about Chiddy Bang’s future. We are going to be hearing a lot about them in the next year and that is fine by me.
Up top we have some official visuals for the track “Pass Out” – which is on their latest EP titled Air Swell. Pick it up here.
Below some footage of them dropping some news beat and spitting some new rhymes over the likes of Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks”, Lil Mama’s “Lipgloss” and the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” These guys know how it’s done.
Mike Posner – One Foot Out The Door – Episode 12 (Finale)
In the twelfth and final episode of Mike Posner’s web series “One Foot Out The Door” presented by Puma, Mike heads cross town for a sold out show with Big Sean, Chiddy Bang and 2AM Club at Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill where UNC shows him a ton of love. So much so that three girls fight for 30 min over Mike’s shirt he threw in the crowd.
Early the next morning, Mike heads to Boca Raton and then Miami for two shows. Mike rocks FAU but the cops raid the Miami show and shut it down. Mike heads back to Duke at 5AM for his final paper and turns it in just in time.
We haven’t heard from Mike P in a minute now. Hopefully some new material drops soon.

Pwelbs Interview with Jordan Looney (Video)

Pwelbs Interview with Jordan Looney (Video)
My man Jordan Looney called into Bad Service a week or so back and we had a real nice chat literally hours before Nerd-Hop Vol. 3 dropped. Although Loonz couldn’t make it to the Radio DePaul studios, the homie Dallas Wright caught some footage of the interview and Looney dropping some live bars with his back-up band The Tunes. Yes Lonney and The Tunes. Classic.
Pick up Nerd-Hop Vol. 3…RIGHT NOW.
A-Trak – Dirty South Dance 2 (Mixtape)

A-Trak – Dirty South Dance 2 (Mixtape)
I’ve been anticipating this for a minute now. I didn’t realize it was dropping today! A fresh batch of remixes from my favorite DJ of all time. Off course all the original tracks are from Southern artists. Trust me don’t skip on this one.
Diggy – What They Been Waiting For (Video)
More visuals from that kid Diggy Simmons. Little things that he does piss me off but I think this kid is doing things right. Off his upcoming project Airborne.

Flo Rida ft. Lil Wayne – Fresh I Stay Pt. 2
I can only imagine what Flo Rida song will take over this summer. I’m not sure that it will be this one. The first single off Flo’s new album The Only One. This guy has more money than anyone.
