Man, Kanye goes hard on these verses, a quality G.O.O.D. Friday track to say the least. Wish Cudi had an actual verse though.

Lupe Fiasco – The Show Goes On

Lupe Fiasco – The Show Goes On (Prod by. Kane Beatz)

Here we have it! The first single off Lupe Fiasco’s much anticipated album Lasers – set to drop March 8th, 2011. Off the bat I’m enjoying this joint. If the hook sounds familiar, it semi-samples Modest Mouse’s popular single “Float On.”

Lupe premiered this joint on UStream this afternoon. The power of technology….

What you all think?

If you feel like supporting – buy the track here.

Common, Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco & No I.D. – We Can Do It Now

Common, Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco & No I.D. – We Can Do It Now

These four Chicago artists come together for a Gatorade Campaign to create a “Chicago anthem.” Dope, right? Watch the video up top to get some background on the track.

Interesting note by Andrew over at Fake Shore Drive – this is the first time Common and Lupe have appeared on a track together. Hard to believe!

“Common, Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco and No I.D. create the new song “We Can Do It Now” inspired by Season 3 of Gatorade REPLAY. REPLAY reunites high school teammates 10+ years later – giving them a second chance to settle a score. Check it out at http://www.REPLAYtheSeries.com.”;

Swizz Beatz – DJ Play The Beat ft. Estelle

Swizz Beatz – DJ Play The Beat ft. Estelle

Producer Swizz Beatz will be dropping a track for the next few Mondays. I’m sort of hit or miss when it comes to Swizz Beatz. I really love his beats or really hate them. I kind of like this one….he grabs Estelle from the other side of the pond for vocals.

Swizzy!

Add-2 – Tale Of Two’s City Vol.4: Better Days (Mixtape)

Presented by Okayplayer & 2Dopeboyz:

Add-2 -  Tale Of Two’s City Vol.4: Better Days (Mixtape)

This one snuck up on me a little bit. No complaints though, Add-2 is with out doubt one of the best rappers in the city of Chicago right now. The lyrics and production are on point as always. A real solid soundtrack to a crisp fall afternoon in the city of wind.

Cee-Lo Green – Old Fashioned

Cee-Lo Green – Old Fashioned

Artists like Cee-Lo are why I listen to music. Just read up on this guy’s career. Goodie Mob, Gnarls Barkley and a tremendous solo career. “Fuck You” has already landed a place in my soul for the rest of my life. It will forever remind me of this time in my life. But enough sappy shit – another leak off Green’s upcoming album Lady Killer (Dec 7th) has hit the net. The title alone gives the feel on this one. Another truly terrific tune from this rather unexpected song bird.

Joe Budden – Mood Muzik 4: A Turn 4 The Worst (Mixtape)
