Pwelbs Presents: Interview with Malice (Audio)
Pwelbs Presents: Interview with Malice (Audio)
I had the opportunity to interview Malice, 1/2 of the greatest hip-hop duos of all time. This is with out a doubt one of my favorite interivews I have done to date. Hell Hath No Fury is in my personal Top 10 albums of 2000-10. Malice filled us in on his new book, how it came together, new music from The Clipse?, Pusha T’s solo album, reflections of Til The Casket Drops and much much more.
A bit frustrating – the first minute or two got messed up so Malice comes in during the middle of his first answer. He talked about how the book gained strength after an in-studio conversation with Pharrell.

CrowdNoize X AyKid Shots Interview with Kids These Days (Video)
I haven’t exactly filled in my readers about my side project, CrowdNoize.com. It’s a music event based website that aggregates hip-hop and electro events all into one site for each respective city. We cover concerts, meet & greets, fashion shows, film screenings, art shows…we got it all. We are currently active in Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. Our Twin Cities branch will hopefully be 100% launched in the coming months. If your interseted in being a part of the movement. Hit me up via email, Facebook or Twitter.
Anyway, CrowdNoize caught up with Chicago hip-hop band Kids These Days right before their sold out out EP release show at Reggie’s Rock Club here in Chicago. The night was pretty dope and this video gives you some real insight into the personalities of the group. Big shout out to my homie AyKid Shots. He shot and put the video together beautifully. This dude is the future! More about Kids These Days below.
“Picture a bluesy version of The Roots, except they are all about to graduate from high school. Fresh off the release of their Hard Times EP and a sold out release show, these Kids have brought a breath of fresh air that tests the boundaries of what we call hip-hop.”
Kids These Days will be headlining the Radio DePaul Hip-Hop Showcase on February 17th at Lincoln Hall. With a tag of only $10, tickets are going fast so grab them soon. The night will also be featuring a strong line-up of hip hop bands and emcees including: whysowhite, Chuck L.I., Mally (yes he is flying down from the Twin Cities #hustle), Boogy & Phlyy and DK. Read more about them here. My Radio DePaul family, CrowdNoize crew and each artist/band (and their teams!) has put a lot of effort into this show. If there is ever a time to support, this is it!

Mally – Once We’re Kings (Prod. by The Sundance Kid)
What more can I say? The music Mally and The Sundance Kid continue to drop right is impressive to say the least. Here we have the latest installment of their monthly series. I’ll say it a thousand times. Mally is up next.

My Chicago people! The homie Mally will be performing at Radio DePaul’s Hip-Hop Showcase at Lincoln Hall on Thursday, February 17th. Read up on the details here.
I also gotta give a quick shout to Mike over at Midwest Broadcast. Read up below.
“It’s beginning to get difficult to heap praise on Mally and The Sundance Kid for their monthly releases, because each song they’ve done together is equally deserving of lavish praise. The music these two are putting out is easily among the best being created by Twin Cities hip-hop artists lately, and some of my personal favorite music to be released, regardless of region or genre. So, there you have it. Another month, another terrific track from Mally and The Sundance Kid.”
Check out the rapper producer duo’s previous monthly releases below.
